Windows Vista

I have recently purchased a new PC with Windows Vista Home Premium. I think of myself as fairly competent with computers but it took me a day to set up!!!! On of the windows updates was freezing my PC on the “Configuring Updates” Screen. So I have to use windows recovery to go back. Eventually after installing updates one by one I discovered that it was a motherboard update causing the problem. I went to the Manufacturers site and downloaded some drivers and then Windows update offered a completely different update – It had given me the wrong updates previously! So frustrating.

However now I am up and running (Fingers Crossed) it is excellent. Though my last computer is 6 years old so I am easily impressed. Everything that my previous PC was incapable of this one just breezes through!
