What great weather, got out fairly early this morning for a short 10 miler, and was almost too hot! As I was just going for a short cycle, (may do a longer one later today) I tried to really push myself.

So some strong stats, but I shouldn’t be pushing myself so much at the start but rather aim for a pace. After 5 miles I was over 18 mph average speed but this really affected the second half of my cycle as I didn’t have the energy, perhaps if I hadn’t pushed so much down hill and on the flat I would have had more stamina up hill and finished quicker?
